map loading knowledge needed

I posted a request for help extracting and reloading maps in Delta Force 1 . After 43 views and no replies..I am wodering if you are going to tell me? I saw that you responded and corrected my "mistake post" and I am grateful. Can you please respond to the question I asked ? I searched and searched keywords in the data base and found nothing . It's just a few question from a new guy...the questions are..
1. How do I remove the old stock maps so there is room for the new maps ?
2. What repacker or pack-man do I use to load the new maps and how ?
Two questions..need answers...looks like an opportunity for someone to get a little closer to 5000 posts. Pretty soon I'll have nearly 4 posts myself....someone call CNN

you need something to get them out of the PFF file and repack them back in, with the " PFF Extractor " after you taken out the ?????.BMS file you (all so can delete them too) you can all so use: [u]Pack It[/bu] to pack them maps in if need to.

map edited: to make maps up or edited some: "Updated Mission Editer"

"Mission Manager" you can disable the maps you don't like to use or host with

Description: This program can Enable/Disable Missions that are packed inside of the Delta Force 1/2 resource files, thereby you can control which maps will be cycled when you are hosting.

***"DFME Extractor Total Package"***

Description: This self extracting zip file contains all the files you need to get going with Delta Force Map Engineer. It includes the latest version of DFME, the image files, the english help files, and PFF Extractor. All files will extract to the appropriate folders, and the initial setup should be correct for most users. Also two txt documents are included to help with setting up.

they have a map coverter map bms into MIS so you can edited maps and update some too. "DFMCsetup.exe"
[look under tools inside download area of DF1]

NovaHq.net & dfbarracks.com don't have this tool up for use in their download area

as for the first question, you don't need to delete the old maps.

I really appreciate the time you spent answering my questions. This is exactly what I was looking for ! I hate asking anyone for anything I can't find myself...thanks for being so helpful. That was a worthy post Chief , very nice.
Thank you for the tips Steve..I might have erased the files had you not mentioned the fact. I look foreward to getting these maps loaded and ready...just like me
