Two Moons in one night

Two moons on 27 August

27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for...

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August.

It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye.

This will culminate on Monday Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth.

Be sure to watch the sky on Monday Aug. 27 12:30 am.

It will look like the earth has 2 moons.

The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

Share this with your friends as NO ONE ALIVE TODAY will ever see it again.

lol - Look for a bright star - it will be one of the brighter ones... And to make it appear the size of the moon you will need a telescope that magnifies it by 90x ( http://www.space.com/spacewatch/051028_mars_close.html ).

And actually the day it will be closest is to night (Saturday, 25th @ 11:25pm EST

Next time it will be this close is June, 2018

BTW, that email has been circulating the internet since 2003 - look it up on snopes.com

there is a full moon out with a glow around it and partly cloudy besides a thunder storm outside.

don't think i be able to see it anyways my way. but i did see a bright star out, north of the moon were it is at this time.

to bad my camcorder 2x-400x power zoom can't see it be too fuzzy to see it or record it, beside being damp outside fog the lens up as will
