so they should fix their site just for one person? most people here i believe have 1024x768... (i could be wrong...) why not change YOUR resolution?

hey, i do web design, so i'm not just talking out my ass. i was asking them to just fix a couple of bugs in their theme.

i'm not asking them to change their theme "because of me"

and i know i'm not the only one that runs high res. and it's really irritating.

with comments like that i'm wondering if u just want to start a flame war.

it's not an insult to them, i just noticed that they weren't using a repeating table cell background for the different areas. so i asked them to fix it. DID IT EVER OCCUR TO U THAT THEM LOOKING AT THEIR THEME CODE AGAIN COULD SPEED UP YOUR LOAD TIME? AS WELL AS SAVE THEM MONEY ON BANDWIDTH. so, umm...hmmm...that's pretty much my argument.

i ask politely, and i get hit with someone who wants to start a flamewar. i wonder why i even asked, it looks like simple requests don't get acknowledged here. i don't have time for a flamewar, i have to go to work. WHERE I DEVELOP IN AN IDE, WHICH REQUIRES 1600X1200.

btw, on anything > 17'' monitors, 1024 x 768 looks horrible, way too low a res. everyone should be running at least 1280x1024 when it comes to 19''

web design is a live, flexible art. your canvas size is variable, and your content is fixed. it's not easy to make a pleasing design that looks good at hi res and lo res. the theme looks very good and is readable...it's just broken. at least i'm not posting a HTML 4.01 compliance analysis from w3c

sry about his late reply, none of my comments were meant to cause harm

i was on my way to work when the above posts were made, lol

thanks for making the adjustments...it's looking a little better...

i understand why u are so reluctant to go dipping into the php to dabble with a few tables...php is so picky sometimes

i really appreciate this...i'm so happy ur site doesn't stop halfway across the page because u make the site for a certain res. lmao.

kudos!

my can go as high as 1600x1200.
but i have it set to 1024x768.

but thats something to think about what others have to view at their montors.

best watch out some companys have rules on what they (Employee) can do on their computer system be care full ok.
I know of 3 people in my life time that got fire for 2-chatroom (paltalk) online and 1-play game (Doom) from work place.

i am the system administrator, i can do whatever the hell i want

i can see if someone would get fired if they were playing DOOM their first few weeks at work, but chatting on the internet is such a low offence...people do it here all the time, but the funny part is, they just chat with other people in the office.

LONG LIVE SYSADMINS AND THEIR REIGN OF TERROR!

get ur sysadmin to like u, and u have it made, betray them...and well...it's hell.

not what them 2 chat about it was no then to do with work at all it had to do with XXX talk and sharing pic XXX of each other. both got fire on the spot one was a office manger and the other 6weeks later a stockroom manger. they sign a paper in the rules it stats they will not download anything that has no then to do with the company or go into chatroom or use their company computer system for personnal use.

sorry for the late responce... but in my post i was not trying to start a flamewar... flamewars suck... and in my post was no relation to a flamewar... and your post after mine was... but i am not going to look at this again, so no reason to reply to me.
