I'm dying to play online damnit!

I feel as if my world is going down now. I can't seem to play DFBHD online anymore due to NOVAWORLD's sudden request for us to update our game. I did update my DFBHD, but it was in vain. I dunno why but I can't click on the "multiplayer" in the main menu. After the update I can only access the single player games.

I've even tried using the BHD Join program. But it left me sweating tring to get to the novaworld lobby. Can somebody, anybody help me out here. pleaseeeee explain to me about what's goin on? I need updates!!!

Now without DFBHD, I'm starting to play BF1942. My version of the game is 1.25. Tried to upgrade it to 1.4. Same thing happened. And I've reinstalled it. But it seems all the servers are full with version 1.4. Is there anyway I could locate any "old school" servers with 1.0/1.1/1.2 ?

I'm addicted to fragging online. I can't face another day on playing single player games anymore..... booohoooo .... waaaaahhhhh!!!!

almost seems like you are playing with a no cd patch.

if thats the case then you will have to update no cd patch to match your current version and it should work.

Yes, if you are using the no crack CD you will experience this problem. If it is not that let us know and we will try to help!

I'm currently using some kinda crack file to play the game. How do i know whether its a no-cd crack? My bro' installed lots of junk, ad-ins, mis, bis, cracks, patches...bla bla bla.... I lost track on what else is inside the dfbhd folder.

So...errrr... how do i go about this problem of mine?

If you do not insert the original game cd to play then you are running the no-crack.... When you updated you also have to find the update to the no crack cd too... You can't run the no crack cd at a lower version then the updated version that you downloaded.

For the first time tonight, I can't connect to any MP games. However, I checked the addy I have for the nova lobby in BHD and there are no servers up either. So, since I am not running the no-crack cd, that isn't the problem. I just figured that Nova is down like they always are....lol

strange omost the same thing is happening to me accept I reinstalled bhd recently and now when i click update it doesn't work it just sits their so i reccamend ne one who has bhd installed don't reinstall

Gee whiz, this is tough. I don't think I'm running the no CD crack, coz' I've always been using the CD to play. I'm not sure whether theres other form of crack files that my bro' has installed along with other junks in my system. Since Gunshot recommended not to uninstall, (which I almost did...phewww), then is there anyway that i could get the original system back & running for proper version updates? (1.0 to 1.2 right?)

I've heard that the nova lobby has changed its address. Such as the public servers, stats servers and bla, bla bla. Do u know which nova address is the LATEST? Besides nova's lobby, are there ony other servers that i can get in? What's the difference between joining MP games from the BHD screen than the "BHD JOIN" program? How do i know that the Nova server is down anyway?

by the way, gunshot... did u manage to get in the MP game now?

if you run the update wizard, it will overwrite anything that is not standard for the current version (like a no-cd crack).
so if you use the wizard (and it works) you can be sure that you don't have any crack

lmao... uninstall the whole game delete the bhd folder and install it again and dont install that lot of bs ur bro did

yeah!!! at last... i can play online now! thanks guys. I've uninstalled BHD & all the subfolders alltogether & I've freshly re-installed the game. And "WALA!!" It works. Just wondering though.... is there a no-CD crack for the updated version 1.2 ?

My brother and I had the same problem. Just uninstall the game, and re-update it totally.
