AI in the DFBHD campaign

hey guys,

do any of you know, when you are playing one of the official maps of DFBHD, you teammate AI can follow you around and in buildings perfectly and wont get stuck against a wall or something, yet when you create a mission by yourself and set the AI's waypoint to you, they just head straight for you, and will not move sideays or negotiate a path to get to the player if obstructions are placed in the way..

do any of you know how to get the AI to get "fancy" and follow the player correctly?
