best tool i found to use for youtub when you like your video to look great use "@ Super" its a sweet tool to change the video format

by you changing the format then have youtube.com do it for you! you get a better looking video clip

this tool lets you use many formats but for youtube use flash (flv or swf) is better looking

i use ether 640x480 or 270x480 counts on the video size you using, you can select "no change" to keep it the same as before the change over.

i use Avi change over flv
640x480 AVI size 196mb > FLV 1.31mb

btw you can change the video clip to many type of formats like MP4 and size can be bigger then 320x240 with this you can make it 1024x768 or any size you like its up to you!

sample: you have a AVI file that is 1024x768 and like to make it to a MP4 you can with this into 1024x768 MP4 other software will not be able do this

play with it and see what you can do

you basic move a video clip to the large grey (drag N drop) are near the bottom then make the changes you like to be above area, then click-on encode after its all done (count on the file size smaller shorter it be, larger take longer) then click-on preveiw bottom right....

this is not a file transfer item it encoder for video formats using many types of codec and formats.

no limited to youtube you can use this for any formats you like to upload a video host site
