"Spammed all to hell"? What, so people can't thank the developers for their gratitude without being labelled as "spam posts"?

Petroglyph Games are made up of mostly former Westwood Studios developers (those who worked on the C&C games before C&C3). But you wouldn't know that, since you aren't the strategy gaming type.

lol - all that "spam" posting described what is was about...

the makers of the game took the top 10 posters and included their names in the credits of the game - Only had to read the first post to get that.

GRIN - http://www.grin.se/

also respected their community with the GR:AW games, they thanked the members of the forums @ ghostrecon.net in the credits.

think i posted before but i made it into the credit list from testing (BPR PANIC):

it's a nice touch when a developer does that!

it's hard to imagine how confinded developers are when they work for big publishers like UBI, it's an incredible fight for them to get any of their own ideas implemented and they are in a constant battle with publisher and the actual fans of the games who want completely different things. at the end of the day the developer loses, because they all want to get paid :/

thanks steve for that information
short and sweet to the point

had no Ids about that

In Halo Ce (50name plus) and Fable the lost chapter (2000 names plus) they run the credits its like 10min-30min to read all the names listed in the Credits.

tell you thruth i buy the game and play it! i really can careless who it on the Credits listing too many names to seat there and look at, i get it to play and enjoy.

job wise maybe, i can see some one say they help Game software MFG build a game and their name is on the listing what they did in to help a hand in to it

There are about 600 people thanked in Petroglyph's game. And yeah, tahnking the fans isn't really a new thing.
