Fraps Videos Are Evil!!

Why are they evil??

they filled up all the room on my hard drive and i had only 113MB left lol

i deleted them all, well most of them, and got back 81 GB

so if you have fraps make sure you delete unwanted videos

just a heads up so if anyone elses hard drive gets full

and by the way, i have a 250GB hard drive lol

Yeah i know.. Even in halfsize they eat up space.. Im now experimenting with Taksi Desktop recorder to see if thats a bit better..

gamecame pro has the option to record into wmv in realtime...

But yeah, the avi format is massive

But you can only do it after fraps has recorded.. So a nights session of filming tkes all your HD space..

does anyone know of a way to change the avi format to wmv or something else that would be smaller on fraps?

I use windows movie maker


- import the video, drop it to the time line, save it as a wmv file.

yea that is what i do after i record and before I upload them, but i mean does anyone know of a program that can record an unlimited amount of time but in a smaller sized format?

yes - gamecam pro - records it into a wmv format - thus taking a normal 2.5 gb video into a 25mb video on the fly

man i change my over to flash formate cut them down to 80% less in file size

sample 25mb wmp change over to flv is like 2-4mb
