I haven't played WoW but I took some interest in looking at what a great site you made about ''telling the world why you quit'' so I made this for ya to kinda ''promote'' the site lol.

I know what it's like quitting a certain game lol...

Oh well, hope ya like it!

On GIMP you can't lower the opac. on the scans lol. (If you mean the ''video effect''?)

Meh, BTW, forgot this thread even existed lol.

* Edit:

^ Better one lol... that's an alternative lol.

If you are using gimp, and the scan lines are a filter applied to a layer then the way to achieve a lower opacity would be as follows.

Make a new layer, copy and paste the entire sig as is onto that layer, set the video effect, then lower the layer opacity as a whole.

I get what ya mean totally lol.

To be honest, I knew it had something to do with layers and then I saw your reply LOL... and here it is!:

I used the Multiply layer effect and the opacity... I made that 45.0 and yah...

Sorry for all these versions of it JonM lol... but seriously, I'd use this one right here lol. The first one was umm... well you said the site wasn't by you so there goes an error in the 1st one, the second one? Well, the 3x3 lines were too bright. Your best bet is this one!
