Big earth quake!

(CNN) -- All tsunami warnings issued after a major quake in the southern Pacific Ocean have been canceled, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.

i hear it over now, the warning is no more for the tsunami warning


think it move sideways and not up and down.

if it move up and down there be most like a tsunami do to the water is ether rise up or the water is drop real fast that make a tsunami.

if it land mass move side ways there is no tsunami do to the water (sea) don't drop any.

still good to know other are watching out there.

Land slides under the water, its a big risk of tsunamis if it happens (think it was a earth quake land slide that caused the devestating tsunami that hit indonesia)

will that was the plates moving up and down. not i know of any land slides i heard of.

one plate gone up and the other fallen away.

they even had it on the Discover channel showing what the two landmass did.

When a earth quake is shaking there are at the same time big landslides that causes big tsunamis, there are different ways a tsunami can accur and by different things, so im not saying you'res is wrong, just another way it can accour

they now down graded it to a Mag: 7.9 from 8.0

they had 3 more after shocks

Mag: 7.9 (first one)
Mag: 5.1
Mag: 5.4
Mag: 5.1 (last one)
