Windows Vista until January 2007

Redmond-based Microsoft said late Tuesday that it had decided to withhold the release of the consumer version of Windows Vista until January (2007), after computer makers and others complained that Microsoft setbacks were making it tough for them to adequately prepare for a holiday sales push.

Microsoft still plans to release Vista in November to large, business customers that buy Windows licenses in bulk, but the product won't be on store shelves -- and inside consumers' computers -- until the new year.

thats volume lic deals mostly tech-supports, not retail stores or online stores.

in other words not going to be release to the public until Jan/2006. so much for halo 3

by the way if any of you all pre-order it, will not see it till Jan/2007 you be getting it in the mail or UPS.

i have a tech-support person who do buy Windows licenses in bulk. i get him paid off what i owe him, i may get that from him. paid tech-service from him anyways.

Windows Xp family been doing great work for 5yrs now, not bad as the other were ether. think the best were Windows 2000 pro, Xp-home, Xp pro. hated the early version so much bugs them.

yep it for real you can still get it from any "paid tech support service" person it be more like Windows Vista Pro IT, then anything other.

you may not get a key-code do to its a Windows vista pro IT, volume licenses in bulk. a lot of IT don't hand key-codes out they keep it when you need service they tell you what to do or come service your system on the spot working hour weekend cost extra for them to come by to service it. that what they get paid for. or if they have a Computer center shop you can drop off the tower they service it you get a bill like my USD-350.00 for 8hrs plus some for their work getting it in working order.

but if it a software item gone bad or windows you can use (buy) RestoreIt, it set back the HD to were it was 100% great.

Whoa, they like delaying us so badly.

Also, Windows XP Serivce Pack 3 is coming out in 2007, but for some reason, one school over here in our nearest town has got it. I have no idea how they got it.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 is a new version of Windows XP that is just like
Windows Vista. I know this because I have used it and I went in Properties in My Computer and saw it myself.

Also Chief, Halo 2 is coming out on PC and not Halo 3.

halo 3 is for windows vista only, as for halo 2 its for both i think or for all windows systems.

don't know what Halo 2 story is, but i do know halo 3 is for only windows vista users or buyers
