Tips: DF: Xtreme make it run better:

go to your df:x folder and look for: game.cfg
open with: notepad
then scroll down to where it says:
edited:
lock_framerate = 1
force_vsync = 1

change the value for each to a 0

lock_framerate = 0
force_vsync = 0

this should get you much much higher FPS

disable: 0
enable: 1

looking for tips and tools that are without popups and adware to them.

you do get more items to use in the map, go to downlaod area get the extra images to add in so you can see must of them in the map editor.

this some thing that Eigle eye made up, did not see it in download area but it is good to use.

This modifed items def shows 92 extra items in the med.

These items where already in the items.def file, I just removed the "NoTool" attribute
that hides them from the med.


This means you can now use the items in your DFX maps, and the people who download the
maps will see the items, cos they are already in the items.def..

All the 3di's and textures are also already in the DFX install..

Just place this items def into your DFX install folder, and the DFX med will see it..
