It very well could be growing pains. I remember back when I was growing a lot, my knees hurt constantly. It went away once I quit growing. Same thing with some friends of mine. We'd just sit and whine about our knees

Glad you asked...

Do you play sports? If so...Osgood slaughters disease. sometimes called jumpers knee. I got it playing paintball and it hurts some days more then others and sometimes not at all.

Also look into bursitis....its the inflamation of bursic's sac's in your knee that absorb the shock of activity.

FYI, I'm a med student.

go see a doctor your knee joint maybe infested my was it had to be drain (freaking long needle between the joint's hurt like hell) and i got some shots for it.

they take a X-ray and see if there any Grey color or Smokey cloudy color in between the joints. i use to run 10K track team in the service after a time leg was hurting like crazy and feel like lead not flexible as it should be? so i gone in to see the good doc and they taken the x-ray came back with the bad news i never be as good runner anymore on the 10k team. next the had to hold me down 6-8 people man! i could have kill each one of the right there crap needle scrape the bone and man the nerves were like on fire. some people say they had water in the joint i had a infested joint, seen it in the needle it was yellow in color and some small amount of blood in it like small blood balls weird to see.

it was my left leg knee joint

i was at the time 19 or 20yrs old when it happen in Germany were i was station at. 1979-1980 i use to come in first place was funny running and watching my speed at it. i was a good runner was going for 20k-40k on my own time to get really good at it and use to it. so 10k was easy at times. but then i started to fall back and left leg started to feel like lead and hurt a lot. in the knee joint

agree with dr bullet. i had that too for about a year!!! was really annoyin, knees always hurt and felt like they were slippin out of place n stuff, kept giving out from underneath me all the time, was horrible. but for some reason, after bout a year... it just stopped.

i put it down to growin pains, just gotta bare it out for the duration m8, but it may be worth getting it checked out too, tho they'll prob send u to a physio-therapist which will cost a bomb
