I am a fan of the FOX NEWS CHANNEL. I love their fair and balanced coverage, their youthful and motivated staff. The FOX women are the best looking on the air.

Don't watch the news. I prefer to read it online. It's faster and I don't have to listen to all their doomsday crap.

I regularly use Google news for up to the minute news, but for research, I like BBC and New York Times. MSN is good too.

I skim about 7-10 newspapers a day.

I watch ABC, NBC, MSNBC, BBC, SKY, CNN, CSPAN on TV ...

Oh and how can I forget, the one and only. HGTV!!!

i like CNN they hold back till all the facts are in not like others as soon they get it if it real or not they release it. unlike CNN they will tell you something is up on this subject but at this time can't say more till they have all the fact about it in.

I was a fan of CNN in the early 90's. Bernard Shaw and Wolf Blitzer during DS/DS was outstanding. Loved it every minute.

Ain't that the truth. I can't even count all the times our news services were preaching about these awful tornados that were absolutely going to pop up, and it never happened.

One time I was at a family function (which was being held at the out-laws' trailer), and they had the news on. I was outside having a chat, and some family members come running out to tell the kids to come in, "there's gonna be a tornado." Said family looks at me and says "well aren't you coming in? There's supposed to be a bad tornado coming." I says "Can they actually see a tornado?" Family member shakes head. "Well if there isn't one yet, what is there to worry about? Besides, of all places, a trailer is the absolute last place I'd want to be."

Of course, they look at me like I'm nuts and go inside to huddle around the TV. So I stayed outside and kept chatting, and wouldn't ya know, it turned out to be a beautiful day

I still take that point of view. Unless they can actually see a twister, they don't know anything.

lol about the beautiful day .... alot of the times in florida when theres a hurrican day.. i've never seen a more beautiful day ....

if you all didn't hear about what happend last summer, they predicted where the hurricans were headed...making everyone evacuate...and then the hurrican decided to go where everyone evacuated.....

but there were some pretty shitty days ... but not THAT bad...max gust i would say that hit us was around 75 mph ... took out our avacado tree..and damn it i like avacados

there saying this summers gona be worse than the last one ..., they might be right lol...there already has or is been a tropical storm ..

Yeah, tornado days are usually the best. What's the coolest is they're dark, as in you can't see the sun, but everything is so bright and clear. It's amazing that such a beautiful day can be so destructive.

From experience, I know that if it is really really humid, but the day is super clear, yet dark, it's time to grab the important stuff and be ready in whatever the fastest vehicle I've got is
