problem with PC..

no idea what the ... is going on, the download isnt corrupt ive tried different versions ect..

this is what i get when i try 2 install the old ATI drivers .. both 4.9 and 4.10 and yes i hav made sure all previous files r gone..

so any ideas? its doin my head in..

just installed omega drivers.. went through ok but when i go to properties ect, it doesnt pick my card up

but it knows the card im using so.. its right p*ssin me off..

hummmm ... check that the cd rom is clean .. and then run a diagnostic check on the drive..maybe the cd drive isnt able to deliver the packets of info as fast as the pc needs it..this will cause an error

lol .. bad...

usally when something is being gay like that in the device manager i delet it, then it detects it again...but i never did it on anything big .. like my video card..lol..

and howcome on that screen is says PCI for location? isn't it supposta be in a APG slot?

i dunno y, but it runs off AGP, but the secondary option is PCI

it always says PCI for AGP slots.



do u have system restore on? you are probably gonna have to restore / repair or format unless you know how to go through the registry proplerly.

maybe try a reg cleaning software etc

if your gonna play with your registry be very very carefull ..you could wind up with a expensive boat anchor

ok this is right wierd, just used a program 2 clear registrys of errors (over 300).. and like now its ok but just need to try and install drivers now or find out the version..

i think this pc has a mind of its own..

ok drivers wont install still but my screen isnt lagging, when i go to properties>settings it says this..

looks to me u installed the wrong drivers, make sure you are installing the correct windows drivers

play it safe do a scan disk to fix your filing system if it gone bad ok

Start>Run> type: chkdsk /F
hit inter> press: Y
Hit enter

restart system will fix filing system. up top you posted about a error in your file system. it don't hurt any, it be done in 5-10min it will restart to fix any error's items on it own.
