http://maps.google.com/

it now as a option to switch between Map and Satellite image! only of USA at the moment, you can zoom right in and see ppls houses, cars, etc

great idea, if only they could update some of the places that would be great, ive been trying to get a satillite image of my acreage so that i could see how much i have cleared on my land.

will i found out after you locate you area you looking for on the map you then click-on [Satellite] upper right top, then the image will change to a road map to a image of the area you looking at. sweet.
