Help Maybe?
Does anyone know if there is a way. I have tried just about everything. I was making a custom building with brick walls and the flooring. And of course I am a bit of a perfectionist. When I lay them down even just one without overlapping. When u stand on them they cause ur character to jump. This is very annoying. Is the only way for floor sandbag or is there a way to set is so the character doesnt jump when he's on the wall section? Or has anyone any idea? LOL

u just have to test different stuff, the 'cause_a' things work great for florrs, plus they are big with is good somethimes.

depends on the size also...
u can use the top part of the large bunker lowered into ground for a floor on surface. if small floor is needed use wooden walkways, mayan rocks, or sandbags.

Howdy DeDrage
Are we talkin bout df2? If so, try setting pitch at 270 instead of 90. I cant recall having that problem with stone walls. Happy Trails--Wildman

Thanks for the input guys. Very useful. Cours still cant get what I want. Cause the building is raised. What I decided to do was just us an already made bldg. Then just raised it. Didnt turn out at all like I wanted but hey maybe next time. LOL thanks any though.

Sorry by the way that was DFLW. I made one map in DF2. Thing is I only bought DF2 cause half my squad played it. But I cant stand the graphics. LOL DFLW is way better. Course I know some things are better in DF2 but hey lets all hope for DF TFD to blow them both away.

Ive tried it many times but i cant seem to get that prob away to. but if there overlapping its way less i know that. If i ever will find the solution il tell ya all

if ya want to send me just the building on a mis file i'll take a look and see if i can come up with someway of building it different to have fix the wall glitch for ya.
i'm sure one of us could come up with something! might be a little bit, or a whole lot, different from ur original plan but we have to use what we can thx to nova! ![]() |
