Cure for cancer?

Was reading on Wired.com tonight.. and saw at the very bottom of the page "Early Success for New Cancer Vaccine" (How sad it's at the very bottom)

This could be some good news for cancer people, and maybe even lead to other Vaccine's..

cancer is a issue here so theres alot of research and money pumped into the industry, i just hope that if it is sucessful that it isnt taken over by some drug company who will put it out of reach of the average person...

This is excellent news for all those poor souls afflicted by this dreadful disease.

As BB/Mike says, lets hope it stays within the reach of ordinary people.

will Steve and all i hear they found some cures for Cancer big money pay them off to keep it under cover, seem these so call doctors like to rip-off people in hosp and keep charging big money and make more money on it big time, if a cure were to be found they be going after and put a stop to it.

a cure would be great if it get release to the world. Hosp would make less money but more people will live longer and be really happy. i can only for the best and that is one day it will get release to the world a cure for Cancer.

That's the scary thing about the world today.. I've herd so many things, that could improve this world, the air, atmosphere, gas, viruses etc. But you hear the big news, and never hear about it again.

You know a few years back, some guy (Dont remember where he was from) developed a car engine that would run on about 80 miles to the gallon? But after his public announcement some governments covered the news and no one herd anything more. No prototypes, no guy (he disappeared), nothing. My theory is that if this was ever implented, the fuel industry would loose so much money, and would cause some governments etc to crash, so they took it away.

I bet he was probably offered a huge amount of money by the oil companies so they most likely got the patent after all, they stand to lose a hell of a lot of money if an idea like this takes hold!
