Multiplayer authentication question

Hi, in reading the forums i noticed that someone mentioned a CD-Key check in the game. Does that cd key check talk to a cd-key server like the ubisoft R6-3 does?

If i can play multiplayer co-op on my lan without needed to crack the crap out of the game i will get it. Otherwise, im tired of not being able to play games i purchase.

When u buy the game u r supplied with a CD-Key, U need the cdkey to install the game and play online through Novaworld. U dont need the CD in to play (since copies of the game will not work nova put a built in cd key onto the disk. Also theres no bypass novaworld login anymore u MUST login (which needs a account and valid CD)

OK... so... if i want to play a lan game, the CD WON'T need to verify to nova's servers before i can play? R6-3 wouldn't even let us play a LAN game because it couldn't validate 2 different keys through my router/firewall!

And 2nd question, Can we play 2 or more people online with nova logic ok though a router/firewall? Or does it mess up and drop people or not validate CD-KEYs correctly?

U dont need the CD key to b checked for a LAN game..

For online u need for example u want ot 2 run on 2 PC`s, u need 2 Cd`s also... if u make 2 accounts for the same cd key u can b banned from online play for using multiple accounts

Great! I shall go out and buy 2 copys then... and try to convice the gaming group to get is as well.

NO worrys on the multiple account thing... i just wanted to make sure that we can play what we pay for.

BTW if ur only playing over LAN u dont need 2 buy another CD just for novaworld
