will got my 1st pair of glasses after 19yrs

got my last set back in 1985 US-Army told me i don't need them anymore yea ok.

only been lately having a hard time reading book, so gone down to the VA-Hosp got a checkup, and told them the trouble i been having, will they tested me every way they could think of and found some things i did not like to hear about my eyes, yea there is no so good news about them 2 thing, but anyway they did say i do need glasses mainly for reading but you know what i can see everything really clear now super clear and sharp.

i had to read a book about 4-5ft away from my head to read it at all. now i can read it normally now chest lever or a bet lower now.

some times there no then better then reading a paper/hardback book to read and relax to.

Good luck with them. I wear contacts and with my schedule I take them out and clean them maybe once or twice a week. I need to go back to glasses.

cant wear em my eyes like spit em out.allergic since i had some dust fall behind my lese when i was a plumber.scratched a hole in the top layer of my eye.cant wear em since <makes my eyes go like that smilie there lol

i have a theroy that spending time at the computer is no different than sitting at a desk reading/writing like you would do at a conventional school/college/uni anyway...

i agree TBH.
i had slight vision loss in high school before i had ever used a PC. my housemate has 20/20 vision and plays on his comp every night/works on a com pall day.

im guessing that your housemate has been around computers his whole life, my other theroy is that you can condition your eyes as a kid when there still developing to focus for a monitor and not loose long range focus cause it seems to me everyone thats been around computers there whole life has perfect vision at any range....

I have glasses but never wear em, too afriad they will make my vision worse. I used to have contacts too. Stupid eyes I want to be a pilot ahh o-well they are not too bad :P
