XP, DFLW, Microsoft updates problems

Ever since installed new updates, my video (pre-video) is messed up. Rad which has the Bink video player for dflw, says that the trouble is with microsoft and video codecs and you have to find out from microsoft for how to fix problem. Can't find anything out from microsoft.Any suggestions. Thanks

No errors. When I click on dflw icon to start game, the screen resolution goes to like 640xwhatever. Then my regular dflw screen comes up but I have my mouse cursor on top of the screen. I can't do anything until I click the mouse, then that screen disappears and my dflw is in the bottom toolbar.I click on it then and then I can get to start up screen like before but now I can click on play on novaworld, updates etc. and play.If I ever exit a game then (double screen appears again).Never has happened until installed updates.I don't know. my Windows Me going to be change over to Windows Xp Proffessional this weekend all man i hope it don't happen to me. cost US-270.00

i already upgraded my video-card to XFX GeForce 4 MX440 32bit 128mb Tv in and out ports.and that was something i never like to do take one out and instill another card in, i got error i redid me HD to get it right, and i not going to instill anything till i get the new windows OS instill that i'll load everything in, at this time i using basic items to get by for now. HD only had in it 2.57gb out of 40gb in it.

will its all updated now have to get my sound card going i be fine. and restill some other software back in. i got DFLW & DFTFD instill think i have to download them updates again for the game, not going to play them any till my sound card is working good.
