Yamaha S90 Keyboard on XP

Trying to help a friend out, she just bought a Yamaha S90 Keyboard for her PC, its got an SB Audigy 400 i think or something SB Audigy, latest direct X, etc, windows xp, its a fairly nice comp (512 ram, 2 somethin ghz, 120gb hdd)

its using a Talmac (i think thats it) midi thing that goes like this:

Keyboard -> Midi [talmac] -> USB Cord -> PC


Can't seem to figure out hwo to get anything like Cubase to record from it.

i am out dated on musical hardware connect to Computers systems. sorry i wish i had a asker for you.

I move it here its a new external hardware hookup to the computer system. think this a better area for help for this subject.

there a catch there are two type: S-90 key broad and S90SE keybroad
