Airplane crash

That is crazy that no one died
Quote:
NEW YORK (CNN) -- A US Airways plane was down in the Hudson River on Thursday after attempting to take off from LaGuardia Airport, officials said.

The plane entered the water Thursday afternoon following a failed takeoff, the FAA says.

1 of 2 US Airways Flight 1549, an Airbus A320, was headed to Charlotte, North Carolina, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

A passenger said he was "pretty sure" everybody on the plane got out.

"Somehow, the plane stayed afloat and we were all able to get on a raft," said the passenger, Alberto Panero. "It's just incredible now that everyone's still alive."

i heard they are selling ground geese they found on the wings of the jetliner about 20pounds of ground up geese j/k

the jets engines 2ea suck-in two geese in to the jet engines! taken both engines out after 60sec lifting off the runway the geese got suck in.

was on the news on Tv

i have to say they said the radar seen the large flock of geese in the area and still let the jet take off

think the pilot and his people should be given a metal for their hard work for landing it and saving the people lives

There are always going to be bad conditions; they obviously did not think the geese would have been a problem.

i use to work in a airline part supply company

the blades in the jet engines are breakable real easy don't take much to break them, you could drop one of the blades on the floor it will ether crack or break in haft, when i work there we use to joke who going to be the fool try to walkout with the black box $$$$$ they are lockup and counted for even if they are bad they still wreath money, they can be fix!

When they get done with it, that jetliner they going to take it apart and resell 98% parts in it.
