Green external light
Okay, you know on your computer tower how you usually have a green light to tell that your computer is on and an orange light to tell you when something is loading? Whoopdeedoo... if you know what I'm talking about, read on.
For some go***** reason, now the green light is going on and off every one second... The computer's not on standby, and I didn't do anything too... And restarting the computer or turning off then on? Nope... doesn't work... I have a feeling BIOS has something to do with this... and I had toiling with BIOS and crap... Umm... help? Chris [edited reason use better wording last warning! i see you using bad wording again i will ban you for a week]

you ever think that Green light has to do with the HHD writing is going. in other words it telling you it is active.
some time removing the front cover to clean the fan filter there behind it, can pull on the wire to that green light it may have come lose from the MOB or the Front cover on the tower.

I don't know if it makes a difference, But he did mention the HDD light blinking (the orange light).
So it sounds like he has two lights, the normal one that blinks to show activity, and then the green one to show that it is on. Only time I have seen the power light blinking is if the computer is in stand by mode. Or if the lights are plugged into the wrong spot on the motherboard. @ Chris: Check to make sure the power light wire isn't loose also what is the make and model of your motherboard? |

ASUS A7N8X-X. (2002-2003ish AMD Athlon 2000+)
The case of the tower is closed now and I'll have to unscrew it and check later on in the weekend to be honest, but it's no big deal yet. Chris

it's a constant flash? not random?
tbh i wouldn't worry about it at all if the PC os working ok, yes it is strange, put some tape over it if it bugs u |

Well, it doesn't really bug me, and the computer is going great, lol. Guess the problem's not for me to fix, considering I kinda suck at fixing what's in the PC case, other than hooking up HDDs, lol. Chris
