PROBLEM:
When installing Delta Force - Black Hawk Down, I get a Win16 subsystem/ 16-bit Windows subsystem error. RESOLUTION: Critical files that are needed to enable the operation of the Windows Virtual DOS Machine (NTVDM) 16-bit subsystem are missing or corrupt on your Microsoft® Windows XP, NT 4.0, or 2000 computer. Because of this, your computer will not be able to run 16-bit utilities, such as the Black Hawk Down installer, that require Windows NTVDM. To resolve this issue, contact your computer manufacturer or Microsoft® www.microsoft.com. For more information, refer to Microsoft knowledge base articles Q222975 and Q165214 on Microsoft\'s Web site. |
