dfhq.net will move hosts again

Well, since we are still growing and wanting to do more we are going to move hosts again. Problems (Sudomains/mysql/FTP) with the current host are beginning to be a pain in my ass and I am sick of dealing with it. When we move, we will have 5 gigs of space, 250 gigs of bandwith and total control over the server (This means I have to learn how to config apachie, mysql and all that good stuff manually) but no worries , I am getting the hang of it and got everything setup except sudomains (Can't figure them out!). Hopefully, if all goes smooth you will not notice noithing but about 15/20 minutes of downtime while I update the mysql db's with the fresh ones. I can only do this the second before we move so there will be no missing posts/users. I also wanted to be able to host a few more things so we should have no worries about space and bw now. More squad forums will be taken and maybe some new features. New host is about the same speed as this host, and with the few days I have been testing the server, the only downtime I noticed was when I shut it down . So it's pretty stable! I love stable hosts . Just letting you all know!

Almost forgot to mention! We have reached another dfhq record! On 10-02-2002 we had 48 users connected to our forums only! That's pretty good we think and though we should let you know .
