Is it likely that system requirement of Angel Falls would change?
If for some reason, novalogic decides to release Angel Falls after some years, to how much extent do you expect that system requirement of the game would change? The requirements on the website is good enough for me, but if anything is changed, I would be in deep trouble.

Idk, but I do hope that DFAF is much more different than DFX.
I don't want another DFX mod from NOVALOGIC. I just updated my Video graphics card , RAM memory , etc ... so I'm not really worried about the requirements. But, like I've said before, if it's the same ole NOVA $hit that was passed on before then I'll not buy another game from NOVALOGIC! The same dumb AI from NOVALOGIC would pi$$ me off if I bought it.

The games' hardware demand would be pertaining to the hardware standard of the day. To change the engine radically from that time to perform at today's standards would be highly unlikely, if not impossible. |

Well the problem is, that my system is as follows,
Pentium 4, 3.0 GHz 1GB RAM, Gigabyte Geforce 8400gs, 80 GB Harddisk, Intel 945 motherboard. It can still play games like Darksector, Prototype and Farcry 2. But if Angel Falls is released in a year or 2, the requirements like graphics chipset and ram might increase, which would go against me. I am in no state to upgrade my computer, although i need it big time. |

The most recent official system requirements were posted in 2009, unless I'm missing something huge.
Since then, three years have passed and they are developing the game on an entirely new engine (which also addresses the question above as to whether it will be similar to BHD/JO/DFX... I wouldn't think so). The system requirements have most likely changed big time. If not, Nova might break their own disappointment record, and I believe their current record is the entire community.

Time of concept dictates the engines you can use, unless they can modify it over time?? Doubtful, because once a project has started and the engine decided upon the assets would have to be constructed to suite that engine not to mention scripting and other compatibility issues. It will probably not be as power and resource hungry as say... The Frostbite2 Engine PS If you can play FC2 you will have no worries, the spics and specs flying around say they will make the game scalable any way, so it will go on handheld gaming consoles etc, so this should mean installer module choices. Also to appeal to those less hardware endowed among us. PPS I am an optimist (I hope the game appear at all in any iteration) and these are my opinions only, what you are saying is entirely possible BulletMagnet but I think the filing cabinets full of Boolean script at NovaLogic will never be thrown away...it is theirs and it is proprietary and it works, so... It is possible. Nowadays, believe it or not, consoles rule and pc gaming has been taken for granted. I feel bad about this, but most companies prefer to make ported games for pc. Still, novalogic has been faithfull to pc gamers untill now.
