making a family photo catlog place name with people

look over all them Picture's check the back side see if there any name of people in the photo's if not get your family member help to match up the people names that are in the Pic's.

i am scanning in my family album sad thing is 9 out 10 there are no name that go with them photo's, i have one dated 1919 address to mama with the date only.

so check them photo before it too late to see who is who in them, get with your grand dad or mother, even family member who may know, even if there no one part of your family be a good id to place a name with the person in them, even if it a baby ether.

right now i see a lot of faces but no name to them in my family catlog.

Ill second this, last year my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and passed away all in the space of about 8 weeks. It had been our intention for some time before that to sit down with her and go through the album and try to get a grasp of who is who and how their related. We thought we had time (she was only 72) but its dissapeared, were kicking ourselves now...

my mother and an uncle is doing geneolgy right now, so for they have gotten to the 1700's and every known pic traced.

you are right and add a name and date to the back of every picture, it will help your great great grandchildren know what you looked like compared to uncle fester.

I am so glad that my grandparents, and my great uncles & aunts, have all them pictures and know who they are...

oh yes but do them photo have name writen on the back of them.

i scan in 305ea and only found 3 photo with complet name writen on them! as first names only.

Don't ask me why, but I find pics like those really scary. I think it was becase I watched this horror movie on TV and it had photographs like that, and in the movie a dead person was in it standing up with his/her eyes closed.

he was adapted into the family and seem no one even know his name very sad.

The uniform is from the era of the Vietnam War.wierd thing is he has no name tag on his uniform must have been taken when he first join the service
