Weird GFX problem.

DF Barracks wouldn't help me, so maybe you will.

All my bad-guy characters show up with funky colors, and at long-distance, so do my teammates, but up close they are fine. Anyone know a solution?

Other then the the obvious possible solutions:

1. Have you done a clean re-install of bhd? (uninstall - delete the game folder - reinstall.

2. Are your video card drivers uptodate?

thats all I can think of... Give the specs of your computer - it may help out

can you play any other games without this type of thing going

it could be your pff files gone bad or the Video card is not working like it should be?

you using video chip on the mother broad to play the game? if so you need a video card to install on your mother broad.

DFBHD, JOTR, DF: extreme need a powerful video card to play them any good, they are highend graghic engine games

ok your new to this right?

basic mother broads have a build in video chip in them, if you have the Video card "PCI, PCIe, AGP" types

newer type of Mother broads now days use PCIe type. you need to read-up about your mother broad and see what type of video card it use, then if you already have the right type for it.

then all you need to do is:
1.) uninstall the video chip software/drivers build into MOB Videochip it has already in it. put the new Video card CD in the tray.
**if you need to lay the tower on it side leave the Cd out to work on the inside of the tower

2.) power off the system and unplug it it totally. "Tower"

3.) place in the right type Video card (each one its own slots to use) into it slot most of the time its the one closer to the CPU top of the rest of the PCI slots. "most have a Manuel to read go read it before doing anything ok there maybe power cable to plug into it or steps to follow to install it.

4.) after you got the new/use video card into it slots nice and tight, then close the tower up, (if has screws don't put them in or tighten them up at this time.)

5.) plug the in the tower and boot-up the system. as it boot-up will see that CD in the tray if it out then place it in as it boot-up so windows see the Cd with the drivers in it.

it may need to restart let it do so, after when you get to desktop you can open the CD up or double click-it to install the software and drivers for it. you may have to restart the system after it install everything it needs.

you should be set after this point

*if everything workout at this time! you can now tighten them screws up now

here some video cards to look at link: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...me=Video-Cards

if you buy a video card you should look for one with 512mb or more for memory to it

You said you had a nvidia card with your other motherboard -

what model is it? and what model is your current motherboard.

Your motherboard needs to have the same slot type as your video card in order for it to work.
