ATi Radeon X2900XTX by April!

http://www.dailytech.com/AMD+Release...rticle6138.htm

The new ATi Radeon X2900 XTX sould be releaed near the end of march.. coming out as a 9.5" (Retail) and 12" (OEM) graphics card. Insanley large (check steves thread).

I can't wait for this thing.. Rummers to be 20-40% faster then nVidia 8800GTX.

At least with the size I don't have to worry about going cross fire

Go ATi!

Ati = joke

this card was released today and is a next to worthless release. doesn't perform as good as the 8800 gtx and costs more.... pffffft

Ati says it didn't release a more powerful card because of crossfire, BS anyone?

i don't think so although both AMD and ATi products are 2nd in the market at this time, it seems odd and a bit unfortunate, as both technologies gfx card and cpu's tend to go in cycles where one or the other company has the superior product.

i still think they will start providing units that combine a CPU and GPU in some way. which will be a new market i guess.

too bad there not a PCI card one can buy to grade the CPU with instead of buying a brand new MOB with Memory cards Toboot

that would help the system run better and even faster even with a old type MOB.
