Some newly released memos shed light on the immigration policy of the federal government. Ever wonder what you have to do to get deported? An illegal alien has to be arrested six times before the U.S. Attorney's office does anything. Six times. And people wonder why there are 12 million illegals roaming throughout the United States.
According to the Border Patrol's union head, it's unrealistic to prosecute all of the illegals that jump the border. There isn't enough jail space, he says. The court system down there would be brought to its knees if we tried to process all of the illegal aliens through it. Absolutely. Which is why the answer to illegal immigration remains the same: do not arrest them, do not incarcerate them and do not try and process them...send them home. Isn't that what we do when we find illegal aliens from other countries in the United States? That's right...we deport them. It's always been that way.
Yet for some reason, it's not the case with Mexico. Why? The answer is because of two things: cheap labor and votes. Politicians, eager to Hispander for votes and get their landscaping done for cheap, look the other way on the Mexican invasion. And we're all paying the price. So it shouldn't come as any surprise that it takes six times for illegals to be prosecuted.
The real surprise is we do anything at all.
