Totally (Not) Shocking: "Saw 4" Will Happen
. "Based on the box office returns on Lionsgate's "Saw" and "Saw 2," it comes as no surprise that the studio is thrilled about churning out a new chapter each and every Halloween. Geek buzz is pretty high for next weekend's "Saw 3," which means, yep, it's that time of year again: "Saw 4" chit-chat has begun. Don't tell me you didn't see this coming. Considering SAW III is about as guaranteed a box office success as any film can be, you had to expect that we'd be getting down to discussing future installments sooner rather than later. Of course, when we actually see a sequel will depend on how much of a success the film is and if it matches or (more likely) tops the success of SAW II, you can bet your pasty white but we'll be seeing SAW IV next October. In fact, Tobin Bell's apparently been saying that he's signed on for both SAW IV and SAW V with the folks over at Bloody Disgusting revealing that there's already multiple writers working on story arcs for a fourth and possibly fifth installment. Considering how fast they're producing these films, if they keep this up, the question will be whether director Darren Bousman, Shawnee Smith and Tobin Bell will even make it to a fifth installment. For now, we can enjoy SAW III when it's released October 27th. Mind Answering of SAW3 ( at the end ) It's amazing how dumb most people are, but rest assured I'm here to cleanse the ignorance of the general internet-going public. There will be a Saw 4 next Halloween and it will be centralized on Jeff trying to find his daughter, the whole point of the ending of III was to leave you hanging, y'know... a cliffhanger ending, and boggle your mind as to how he's going to play this game and what he'll have to go through with the masterminds behind it seemingly all dead. What isn't plainly obvious is whether or not there will turn out to be another mastermind besides Tobin and the chick that none of us really minded see get killed. There are good chances it could be Detective Matthews (whalberg) because his escape was the first scene of the film and I think not only is that incredibly relevant but it's also very relevant that they did not actually show him get killed. They tied up many loose ends but also left behind loose ends purposely because the saga is not in anyway shape or form over. Jeff failed his test of forgiveness but he did not automatically fail his next game of finding his daughter, Jigsaw seemingly expected Jeff to murder him hence the tape recorder so the logical idea is that he has set up a complex and confusing game for Jeff to continue through in order to find the location of his daughter and I think this game he will have to play through will more than likely be the most masterful of the series and I think it's very possible there will be a "gotcha" ending where we find out there is another Saw killer and everything doesn't work out so great for Jeff after all. We have to keep in mind Jigsaw isn't a murderer and since Jeff didn't know about his daughter before killing Jigsaw that means there is a game to play for him to save her otherwise in Jigsaw's twisted logic he will have murdered an innocent girl, he also claimed the bullet would end 4 lives and until a fourth film is made we won't find out who the fourth life is, and I don't think it necessarily means Jeff or his daughter must die in order to be 4, I think what may occur is in order to save his daughter there may be someone Jeff has to murder like for instance the man his former wife was in bed with earlier in the film and it will be another test of whether or not he can forgive or if he's simply fueled by vengeance. I apologize for how I began this rant but to me it's pretty cut and dry that the fourth one will be about Jeff going after his daughter, this is classic cliffhanger ending at it's finest the only reason any of you are questioning it is because it didn't give you a lame "to be continued", so honestly the only thing fueling a debate about this is ignorance, because you'd have to be ignorant to not realize what the direction of part 4 will be. And Tobin Bell will be in it but more than likely as flashbacks as they will probably show how he set up Jeff's game and what his life was like before everything else, also the idea that the people responsibe for the series are going to sit back and let someone else do the fourth is ludicrous and they are only making such claims alongside claims that "we wanted to end it airtight" so that the general public (morons) will really believe it's done when it so obviously isn't. The biggest trick they could possibly pull is convincing the general movie-going public that this series is over and the only hope is in a prequel. The same thing occured with X3 this year where everyone was gabbing about how it would be the end of it and it would have an air-tight ending and then it turned out they lied to us because for one thing Magneto moved the chess piece, and for another Xavier transferred his consciousness into that one dude's body. So expect a Saw 4 that ISN'T a prequel and expect an X-Men 4 because these people are just trying to pull the wool over your eyes when the answers are so obvious. The most hilarious part is TONS of people thought Jigsaw was dead at the end of part 2 and I was the one of the only people saying that he clearly was not in any fashion dead, and what do we get? A third film where he's in it and alive the entire movie, so trust me guys... it ain't over... not by a longshot.
