what the hell is going on in this screwed up world?
when the Iraq war started the local newspaper put a little ribbon in the top corner
of the paper that says please support our troops.

and now they have taken it off for over a month advertizing the dam American Reject,
super bowl and today instead of a support our troops ribbon we have got a dam score.


has every1 got so dam brainwashed and distracted that a dam person that has the singing talent of
a runned over cat screaching or a football game is more important than the defenders of this great nation?


it seams that all the dumb ass news stations and papers care about is bashing our troops
saying they are doing so horrable reporting these flower children
saying that our troops are murderers and that the war is a mistake
or posting this dam American Reject(American idol) bull **** or the dam foot ball game.

how in the spincter of hell is these medeocre shows and games more important than the people
that are fighting and dying so that these dumbasses can make these shows and play
these games?

am i the only one who sees a problem with this world?

i say that if these dumb sombiches that are living in this country enjoyinging these freedoms
that our troops shed blood for and if these stupid bastards cant start supporting this country
and troops rather than bitching about how bad it is and trying to use the government to take what others have
and bashing our troops and president and whining because their team didnt win they can get the hell out
and leave this country to the real Americans, the people that belive in a free america free from opression
free from the fear of another attack and will gladly give up their lives to defend her from all enemies forign
and domestic.

I see your point and give you props for writing your concerns and belifs. The one thing you have to understand is media is a huge and growing network and is protrayed in many ways. The #1 Job of the media is to catch peoples eye. Make them want to read a certain artical or see a certian picture. The reason they have switched from the ribbon to other icons is, well, becuase people are loosing intrest in the war in iraq. Even though there are some that are strill incredibly strong about it. The majority including congress now are hoping there is a backing out of troops.

Above all its not that they havnt focused on supporting our troops. Its that there the media and they have to put out what they think the people want to see. And sadly not evenone wants to see how many troops might have been injured or if they succeeded. Its just how most of the peple are feeling now.

To make everything clear, i totally support our troops there doing an extreamly hard and great thing over there and i applaud each and ever one of them.

People don't necessarily care as much about the hospitals being built, or schools that are filling up..no they care about the action...it's sad really. I agree with you to a certain extent, I don't think that they are really trying to go against our troops. I believe that the superbowl is a big thing, why not show the score? As long as their are support the troops sign (which their are on my newspaper almost daily) it should be fine.

i dont' know. i think this is becoming an old debate as of whatever we say is not really effecting the country at this second and this is not as important. (I agree that we should show our support, do not take me the wrong way).

fact is, if you feel compeled to you can always write to your local news paper! : )

it been draging on i do think been too long now.

they too have open broaders as will were any one can walk or drive right into Iraq without any trouble at all and hide many type of weapons.

then you have the fools kill other without a care in the world only for their own ends.

i really think this is a no win thing at all.

you will always have people supporting them and other downing the support founds for it all too.

Bottom line it about money and greed of other getting their face place on the Tv-Set screen to boost them selves up to the public eye.

time being the service member don't have a word they go were they have to and die if need be! don't matter if it aa good reason or a bad one. they get orders they follow them. sad fact

I completely agree with you Mauser (even though im not American), the media are a bunch of ****wits. They did something similiar, only it was by a sports commentator here in Australia. I think it was something about the rugby.

He said that the REAL heroes are the full grown men chasing after a small ball in an open field, not the ones serving in Iraq, the Middle East and other trouble spots.

People these days are just so damn stupid. The human element is one big flaw.
