it more on the buyer's power to buy up new things.

think all the main MFG out there doing it now days.

be it cars, Tv-sets, Computer system, gaming system..............ect

person i think the "X-box 360" was made baddly to start with.

My friend has like a 30 year old TV that can run cable and all that...
He doesn't know the brand but it's like an 80s TV kinda...

My ps2 has served me for...nearly 3 years now and there's still no sign of it slowing down. My custom made computer which once belonged to a friend something like 8 years ago is still operational. Most of our TVs have been with us for a number of years and they're all fine. In fact, the only thing that ever has broken in the last 10 years was one measly little TV, and that was around for 13 years.

Your stuff must be second hand jokes

Prepare to pay alot more then, it's the customer that sets the quality. Most go for the least expensive product with less quality, there for its more profitable to to make "crap".

i got a 10 yr old computer in my house, maintained with fairly old parts, but newer than the computer itself, and the only parts that i can think of that have been with the computer ever since we got it, is the sound card, ram, and the cd drives. the other parts are fairly old, and the computer itself is still perfeclty funtional, my n64 is 9 years old and runs just as expected when it came out, same for my tv, 12 yrs of age, its having problems with the picture stretching ofscreen and cant be fixed, and i want a new one, but its still works .

my 486DX2 running windows 3.1 is still going strong, lol, use it to play all the oldies games like the ultimate doom and megarace.

and thats why i build my own computers, so i can choose the parts i want instead of taking the salespersons word for it.

and SilentTrigger*MFA* hit the nail on the head, ya get what ya pay for and if ya pay for cheep stuff expect cheep quality.
