New landscaper

Hi all.

I'm a bit of a coder, and a bit of a DF:LW player, so what better way to spend my interests than to make a new tool for viewing landscapes in 3d at a good speed, unlike the current landscapers slow drawing method. However, the files that make up the terrains in DF are hidden among about a zillion others, so, I ask of you peeps if you know of a pre-compiled thingie with the terrain making files in them(heightmaps, cover textures, detail textures). If you have, know anyone who has or know exactly how I can get them, then please do tell me, as I'd love to make a little app that will do what I mentioned above.

PS, I think you should add rar as a valid file extension for uploading. Zip is the bandwidth stealing past!
