quick question

does anyone know if you can put custom sounds in a map, like say i'm working on a razorball map and it's a mosh pit and instead of using the balah balah music i want to put in some real heavy music. like say maybe some lamb of god or chimaira or even gob forbid, just something.

so if anyone could help me with this please please do so.

I seriously doubt thats possible due to the fact ive played many maps over 1000 and never seen or heard anyone use anything like that! It may be a cool idea to make so you can put it in maps but it would get quite annoying unless the player could turn the music off on it therefore you would need to make a MOD and make the mod allow new things like turning music in game on and off but not the sound to the game!

But i doubt that would even work!

you would have to make a new mod up to do that, then it only be for maps dealing with the mod

i was only talking about how some people put in the music that's already in the mission editor, you know the iraqi/iranian type music and you only hear it when you're with in some many feet, not the over the whole map.

but like you you guys said, it's not likley, oh well, thanks anyway.

they do it with a soundmarker.

I thought there was a downloadable package somewere with all sounds extracted, so you can listen to them.

No you asked music for lamb of the god or something my answer was pointed toward NO as in putting any rock band from music artists you want in there if you had said music as in mission editor then i would of said yes!
