Was watching a documentary by Discovery Channel on Area 51. What do you guys think? Do we actually have aliens cooped up there?

Yeah, that's the one I'm talking about too. Documentary was excellent. Talk about spy planes and spy blimps.

Unsolved History: Area 51 DVD

Unsolved History is history the way it was! Through detailed examination of archeological and forensic evidence, existing photographs, authentic artifacts, and carefully selected interviews from eyewitnesses and experts – events are reconstructed and historical questions are finally answered.

One hundred eighteen miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada, in the middle of an ominous stretch of desert, lies a mysterious U.S. Air Force base that is known by many names: Dreamland, Paradise Ranch, Groom Lake – and most notably, Area 51. It is purportedly the largest airport in the world, yet doesn't sell a single ticket and doesn't accept reservations.

Although the U.S. government will not officially confirm its existence, Area 51 has become a well-recognized part of our popular culture. But while most of us are familiar with the countless films, books and TV shows, few know what really goes on at the top-secret base.

Join investigators as they attempt to lift the cloak of secrecy that surrounds what many consider to be the U.S. government's unofficial UFO testing ground. Surveillance experts reveal the base's top-of-the-line defenses – covert radar, buried motion detectors and roving helicopter patrols – while former insiders divulge the classified projects formerly and currently underway within the site's well-guarded walls. It's a privileged look at what just might be the most alien place on earth.

I live right next to Nevada...there are a lot of areas of land that are "off limits" and are just desert. Same with here in Utah.

I honestly don't think there are aliens on earth...if they were then I don't think we'd know because I would bet they look just like us.

There would have to be other life out there, cos how pointless would it be if earth was the only planet with living life in the entire universe! That would be just stupid. I reckon theres something out there and maybe after watching us humans slaughter each other since way back in Roman times till just now, and watching us wipe out other species, destroying our homeworld, they are probably keeping away from us...we've probably got them scared!

lmao not that extreme I'm thinking bristling civilizations, perhaps a seperate human race on the far side of our galaxy struggling to do the same thing as us There could be alien civilizations waging massive wars against each other too

I doubt any species could be as stupid as humans are. The amount of money they spend to kill each other if spent otherwise would make this Earth a lot better place to live in.

LOL, the money spent on video games in one year alone could go a long way... :P

Either that or if they are more advanced than us they don't want to help out such a primitive planet that still has wars and slaughters people.

Im not saying there is INTELLIGENT life, there could be highly hostile and primitive aliens, such as the Xenomorph from the Aliens saga. There could be other species the same intelligence as us and as 'stupid' as us and constantly fight each other over useless things. They could have their own politics and stuff. They are just either keeping away from us cos we're too dangerous or they think we are a waste of time and know that if we ever find contact with a race, they will know that we would try to get their technology off them. I have even taken the oppurtunity on making up my own universe style thing with hundreds of diferent races of humans, aliens and renegade machines. Even the massive battles fought on the thousands of planets Ive named myself, including the wars between empires, such as the 'Vrax' empires, Tagoneths and the Vorloths who wiped each other from the face of the universe after constant wars against each other for control. I could go on forever but I got a class now.
