It's pretty cool. I've had the alpha of it for a few months now, and I hated that, because DRM didn't work with it. The newer one is MUCH better.

Problem with WinAmp is that it doesn't have all the organization features WMP does. I'm sitting on ove 400 WMA's here, and getting to them all without the libary functions of WMP would be a huge hassle.

yep same here too love the PowerDVD it is sweet.

looking for some codec to instill
(free type ones for video watching and recording with)

i have the programs already only like to get some newer codec for them to use.

The final version of WMP10 is out (you can get it from the front page of Microsoft.com) and all that can be said is ...
w00t! This is awesome! The new look is great. Also, gotta love how if you're listening to some music in the background, and you open up another media file, it lets you go right back to whatever you were listening to before. The new one even plays .SWF files! This release is definately very awesome. Can't wait to see version 11.

been using it for the last week and i'm impressed. seems a bit more stable and speedier then v9.

i don't use the rip/burn schtuff but i can see that being useful for others.

MUCH more stable than the Beta I've been stuck with for the last 2 months. I installed it cuz I thought it would be cool to see the new interface, but then I couldn't get it off! Nice to have a normal version now.
