Need For Speed High Stakes:

will i gone searching for my old game i love so much to get it to work with Windows XP, it all updated and items added in to make it run really good GFX bugs and all been fixed.

NFS: HS was made for 95/98 and it good for ME too, but Windows 2000 & XP family it needed items to get it to work will they tell you what extra new things you need to replace to get it to work.

there a lot of sites have racers/cars/trucks/buses..ect up for grasp have fun. this is the best happy time i had be side Delta Force Serials games as fighting types.

I've never played on the Need For Speed games Chief, do you think they are worth a look at?

will the Old need for speed is about phase out think Electronic Arts is coming out with a new one soon i think.

it is a lot of headache to reset it up not to use Dx at all and let the GFX card handle it and redoing it, basic you would have to instill it and replace items in it then on top of that run 3Dsetup reset the setting after that, replace items again with another group to take it over then add-in a Dx8.dll when you finish the GFX Card will handle it fully other wise it look crappy.

attachment is a new charter in the game will car/racers she was made this year, the game was made for Windows 95/98 WIndows Me will handle it, but 2000 & Xp you get error and the Dx 8/9 will give you error too. so there is a lot of work good new, like me it taken 20-45min's to do basic:

1.) instill the game don't start it up or run the 3dsetup.exe.
2.) update the game to V4.50
3.) replace [you need this> d3da.zip] d3da.dll in the main game folder, now run 3dsetup.exe select other1 press OK.
4.) get> spotpatch.zip now replace items in the 3dsetup and the dll you replace you have to replace it again. (Don't run 3dsetup again your finish with it) then a dx8z.dll use it inside the zip file (in game folder you see d3da.dll delete it only now take the dx8z.dll put it into the game folder now rename it to d3da.dll.
5.) get highpolymenus.zip use it this will update the game Manuel and let you have fun.

when all is done it will no longer use DX your Video/GFX card will handle it, use the setting for your card to run it. it was made for DX6.1 and windows 95/98 so anyone who love it have a lot of work to do.
as you can see it a headache some what. you have to di it in that order, there text file in the zip files to follow. but if you can get it be cool. believe me i reinstall it 4x till i got it right keep getting out of step.

Female chopper racers she can fly hitting them high hilltop lands about 200-450m away.

all mod terrain and cars/racers/even farm combined, custom items are made up by many fans of this one game it was the fans who keep it going other wise it would have been dead, there are still people make thing for it and helping it not to go dead.

will i mostly play by my self or when people come over i let theirs kids have at it. better then playing cards by my self. most pass the time by.

i not figure out on how it connect on-line it does have the option for it.

Keep in mind the the Dx for this game has been disable and it running on the GFX Card (my case XFX Ge Force 4 128mb) and all so been adapted to run in Windows XP Family. normally it use Dx6 and windows 95/98 only. updated and disable dx for it and adapted to windows XP.

i think with this game you can hos:
dailup: 4-8 any high speed connection Max 16 maybe 32mx don't know. EA Games no longer support it and not hosting it that i can see they use to have earaces.com but it no were to be seen you get forward to their main site, people are still playing and making new racers up even today. as it look one on one TCP (maybe) and in the home 2-players going at it.

NFS: Under ground my bother has it he says he love it, his system is Windows Xp 3.mgz

you do best buy a new NFS game that is more updated newer verion of the game is always best

NFS: High Stakes is basic a really old game it even older then DF1 is i think. any raceing game will do good chaing of past is good.

I only getting tire of the B/s in Novalogic games mainly DF:BHD-JOTR getting tire of getting flame in the game and hearing others making clames on a player or any player they are cheaters. personnally i think these flamers should get banned for flaming it to others and Joking about it!!! not funny at all. i really got sick of it i may play it now and then maybe in 60-90days 1-2 times only. i had a blast playing NFS: High Stakes for 6hrs none stop funny i had 25.000 in my account down to 1.200 on repairs work. lol with brand new cars in it their fan out there still at it and helping to keep this game alive NFS: HS Cdrom windows 95/98 with some work it can be Windows 2000/Xp family

nfs underground is the bizz! it lets u mod the cars and my fast and furious supra is the best

yea sound great, i call up Electronic Arts techs ask them if NFS:HS can play with online others, they say you can and it use IP: Number to connect with others Pc to Pc only now. if can have a group join in too.

found this one? don't really fly any it has wheels that can't be seen below it but it goes really fast about 250mph and making turns not really good 90d crash alot. it was cool to see it in action.

don't know how a tool is made for Electronic Arts (Need for speed: High Stakes game) is link to a Novalogic game type at all. hit me funny and all. dfbarrackes is into Racers type games tool?

i was having trouble with the racer SSI getting over lap with other SSI numbers and so i gone looking for a tool to edited their SSI number found this great tool to use for the game: Need For Speed: High Stakes to edited the car files only it link to a cheater site for the game and has info on dfbarracks.com in this old tool

i was opening it up on desktop were i all so instill the med file for JOTR from but the read me file was still there so when i open this editor for NFS: IV to edited the racers files .viv it listed you all in it funny as hell thanks for clearing it up. i did found the read me file it been deleted

README.txt is a common file name to use, so it may have picked it up by mistake..

man thats was a eye opener for me set me back some what is this????? it leech onto a readme.txt from JOTR Map editor i instilled the text file was on the desktop still for the map editor
