i have a problem with the USR controll center for my US Robotics 56k fax win V.92 modem.
i have reinstalled the modem software and the controll center but the controll center still wont detect the modem.
keeps saying that it cant findany supported modems or other hardware and the controll center came with the dang thing.
i know it is supprted cause it will detect it in win mellinium edition.
im running the WinXP home edition and it is a supported window OS.
can any1 help me?

i figured it out, had to download a driver directly from the manufacturer and delete all driver that were for this modem b4 i installed so it wouldnt trey to install 1 of the crappy drivers automaticly.

it only see it if your offline, don't be connected online. then run the test only then it will see it totally

i have the same thing i getting error from it when i reboot system still. freaking dll thing

thinking of buying another 56k modem this one really sucks, it is new as will. wal-mart thing

say could you seen a link were you got your updates on what page it was listed?
