Confused Ballistic Ammo

I would like Tank rounds to come in on a ballistic path not rain down vertically.

I understand ammo to tgt but not enough to do the above trick???

OK Stomp post up what you got, technically it's feasable that you could put rocket tails on your T80 rounds but why would you???
But heres a quick way of shorting this punch up, why don't you just set the teleport target on a 12 degree or so angle?

what wac suits you best?(from distant memory)
A:
if event(#) and never() then
if Random 5 then
ammo2tgt(ammo_AI_MORTAR,1)
endif

B:
if eq(v1,9) and chain(1) and never() then
wave("at4by1.wav")
endif
if chain(1) then
ammo2tgt(ammo_T80Round,4)
inc(v1)
endif

Where does the shell originate from, do you understand my context in the meaning of Ballistic

I want to create artillery fire from close range, say 600 or so meters from the surrounding hills and into an encampment.
Not to drop from the sky and with no vehicles or AI to worry about?

where is the emitter settings ie...
Ammo from tgt () to tgt()

Try this:
_Put 2 or more 50Cals in a hill and Bad guys to control them.
_Redirect the badguys to those 50CALs
_Set the bad guys AI like this: *attack distance to 1 *min and max engage dist to 1000 *set the team to red
_And then, in WAC, use this command: AMMO2SSN like this:

if event (MEDEVENTNUMBER) and never() then
ammo2ssn(ammo_T80Round,2) --> number of the 50CAL ssn
ammo2ssn(ammo_T80Round,4) --> number of the 50CAL ssn
endif

this makes the 50CAL to shoot T80 rounds in the direction the badguy is looking with the 50CAL, but not shooting 50CAL rounds..

Finally someone has picked up the ball, that's exactly the tactic I was after. No matter a bit of AI to do. I need the job done.
