why is it listed one way and then another way, only ask if some one who may know about hardware info. look funny to me

If your display card can run at 8X but your motherboard only supports 4X, it will run at 4X.

Check your motherboard manual to see if it supports 8X.

If it does check your bios to see if it is correctly set.

lamo its a Geforce4 the card is 8x while your mobo only supports 4x but the card should work fine


yea i know its what mouse said

Data Transfer speed 8X cards are better Most will still support 4x but not 1 and 2
