How did u actually learn

i really wna know how u lot got so gd at banners on psp 7 is there like a manual or anything cause i really wna know how to do amazing things like stevieB ,panther,tzer ,trilogy,devildog and the rest of u great baner makers.

I'm ok at makin sigs, I made my red one. Every so often a great idea pops in my head and I make a good sig. But for the most part I'm still learnin. Just read tutorials, then blend them together.

IMO it's good to look at tutorials, because sometimes that's the only way to learn new techniques, but i also feel that after looking through a tutorial u should do it your own way. it's so obvious when someone has copied a tutorial and left it like that - i know 'cause i have done it! adding your personal touch is what makes you good / noticable / stand out

read all you can, then improve on what u have learned. PS is a complicated piece of kit, it's impossible to become an elite artist or whatever in a few months! put the work in and u will be rewarded

I.ve only been using PSP7 for around 5 months, and have only read a few tut's. Practice I think is the true key, I try to use every filter, plugin, blend mode, tool, etc etc to see what each 1 does with my current work both layered and merged.......Practice...Practice...Practice!!!



p.s. remember though I put in at least 5-6 hoyrs a day doing this, Weekends I usually practice 25-30 hours...I don't have a life.....lol
