Map downloads

Hi All, this question has probably come up before sorry if you have repeated your answer.

I have a question with maps and getting them installed for play. I have a server set up for Xtreme2 (The Bone Yard) and downloaded X2 maps from the Nova HQ site.
After the download and unzip/extraction to my computer I have uploaded those maps to the server and to my game files. When trying to access them from my server control panel they are all shown as available but will not run when moved to the mission cycle for play. In fact they transfer to the mission Cycle and then disappear.
I have downloaded a lot of game files, very few will appear for play. Not sure if I am doing something wrong with these files.
Just wondering if you can help, if not can you point me in the right direction.
