just upload it up, install it, you might also want to install anaconda server manager to manage the game remotely without having to login to the server. HD also has issues with detecting the correct video hardware. If you are installing BHD via Remote Desktop, it picks up the Remote Desktop video adapter which does not and never will support DirectX.
This is what you can try (you will still need a supported graphics card): 1. Create a default dfv.cfg file In order to do this, make sure there is no dfv.cfg file in your BHD folder. Then start BHD and when it prompts you for the video test, just click cancel. 2. Locate your DX Video Information Run the DXDIAG.EXE program located in your system32 folder. This will give your your video card information. When the program finishes loading, click 'Save All Information' and save the results to a text file. You will need this info for the next step. 3. Find your Card Name and Device Ientifier Locate the Display Devices section of the DXDIAG text file you saved in step 2. You will need the Card Name and Device Identifier entries. They should look similar to the following: Card name: RADEON 9700 PRO Device Identifier: {D7B71EE2-0D04-11CF-586B-0820A1C2CB35} 4. Update the default dfv.cfg file Open your default dfv.cfg file created in step 1 in notepad. Locate the following line: hw3d_name = "" Replace it with the card name you found in step 3: hw3d_name = "RADEON 9700 PRO" Locate the following line: hw3d_guid = "" Replace it with the device identifier you found in step 3: hw3d_guid = "D7B71EE2-0D04-11CF-586B-0820A1C2CB35" Important: Remove the last dash in the identifier like this hw3d_guid = "D7B71EE2-0D04-11CF-586B0820A1C2CB35" See the difference? Locate the following line: hw3d_res640x480 = 0 Change it to: hw3d_res640x480 = 1 Locate the following line: game_res = 0 Cahnge it to: game_res = 4 5. Start the game hosting using Server Manager Now you can start hosting the game using Server Manager. The above is for BHD, not sure of the other game you mentioned |
