RollEyes The price of PC games????

What's happening with the price of PC games lately? I've seen Joint Ops and Escalation drop from £20.00 in the U.K. to less than £10.00 in little over two weeks and that's just two examples!

On release most of these games are £30.00 + but over the summer months prices have come crashing down on some games which must really tick off people who pay the full price only to find that a month or so later thye have dropped by 50% or more!

Not that I'm complaining of course because it's a buyers market out there and EBay and Play.com sell these games much cheaper brand new anyway!

Regards

It always happens.. I usually wait 1-2 months before I buy a new game.. Give me time to read reviews from people that play it, time for the servers to fill up and usually saves me $10-$20 dollers..

Is the fiscal year ending in the UK, i know that businesses the world over try to dump as much stock as they can before the end of the fiscal year because the assets create a liability of some sort come tax time...

That seeems like a pretty good idea and I must admit that just lately I've been hanging back from buying the very latest titles partly because of the price variations.

Warm Regards
