Do you guys remember your first time playing online multiplayer on every game..lol??

well,

my first time playing online mutliplayer...

it was on DFLW...

i was playing TDM on the map Valley of the Pharouhs...

it was very short, lol...

i walked around the corner toward the center of the map and got shot...

i didn't know how to respawn so i called for a medic...

then my timer ran out so i left lol...

DF2 few years ago

i remember my first game of DFLW all those years ago.

i joined a deathmatch server which was full up. i used the M16 iirc and got more kills than deaths
i remember the map and game even now.

a couple of years later i tried to recreate the map, and called it SB Fire Mountain (see attached picture). i never knew if it was a stock map or not, but i did see it one other time. the map used the terrain and location as in the picture, and used the same buildings. i added the funky sky colour hence the name.

df2 awhile ago.. i joined the mp game and couldn't move, only shoot .. had to reinstall and then I played.. thought that the overhead 'bombs' (cheats) were airplain strikes and was getting pissed

i was playing for maybe 2 weeks...

there was alot of cheats in another TDM server and somehow on the same map as when i started...lol

they were using speed cheats...

i thought that it was becuase of their level being so high so im like, "YES! i can be that fast someday..."...

then i learned about the speed cheat...lol

DFLW nearly 5 years ago.

Back in the early days of the ATINOF server that was. Within the first ew months of them starting up. Still remember the map i played but can't remember the name. Was an ATO custom map, we had hunfreds, mostly made by ato spam, death, amps, and bombs. Think i made a few that went into the server rota too . Most of them were on this site for download (when it was known as DFHQ) but they seem to have dissapeared now.

Still remember that game too, was on boxing day of that year, and i ended the map on 14 kills to 14 deaths. So come boxing day, i would have been in ATINOF for 5 years.. LOL!

best people i play with were call: SBS and some others in DF2 days, move on to newer DF: serials but DF2 was a hit for me.

it was a blast playing back then when novaworld had live sycop in the server and fun seening them at work playing side by side with us all. in DF:2 NW server. but then again the cheaters waited out and sycop all gone dead for the game. i never seen them again in any of the newer games that came out. them was the good days

Only remember that it was DF1 and i had big problems updating the game so i went over to DFA after searching altavista after help, so i asked there but i dont think i got an answer, so i figured it out my self
