1. We won't say 'buddy'. Its always mate. Unless otherwise.

2. I'd strongly suggest you go to wikipedia instead if you want to learn our "highly colloquial, possibly more so than other spoken variants" language.

And the flag? Yeah it's not the Aussie flag, but it does represent Australia. Look at the Member Status Image in my sig that's red, white, and black; that's representing NZ, and it ain't the actual flag.
