BHD playing up
I recently got a copy of BHD off of a mate and I installed it on the 'family' computer because I couldnt get the CD drive to work on MY computer. So after installing, I copied the 'Novalogic' directory folder onto my MP3 and then shifted it to my computer, and because the CD drive wasnt working (im working on it) I had to get a NOCD crack onto my computer. So when I ran the game, it did the whole test with the resolution and gfx etc and they all passed. But after that part, the srceen goes black and does nothing. The computer doesnt even sound like its doing anything. HOWEVER, when i previously had BHD, it worked fine.
My DirectX drivers are up to date and my gfx card is a nVidia GeForce FX 5200. Any help would be appreciated. |

get a DVD/CD writer a new one it only like USD-65.00 at wal-mart brand name lite-on model number SOHW-1693S IDE
it counts a SATA is better, but if you using one HD you can set it as a slave. as for the game rerun the REVUPDAT.exe in the game folder for files that may not got instill right it will see it then fix it. then reply the No-Cd patch again after. if you can backup the normal dfbhd.exe then add-in the No-Cd patch afterward.

hmmm all good suggestions. i'll put each of em to use ASAP. I managed to solve the CD drive prob. The power cable thing had to be loosened up a little. But it still odesnt mean that i can install it directly onto my computer cos im testing something. Does copying the Novalogic file directory from one PC to another make the game work on the other computer? Curious.

I would get the Cd-drive off the family comp and use it in your comp for now. or until you get the game installed

the CD drive problem is solved, so I'm going to update the game on this computer, but for some reason its going at like 0.88kb/s for something that is so huge and its gonna take me a thousand years to finish the update. So at the moment, Im just curious wether copying the Novo game directory from this computer to my computer would actually make the game work on my computer, like i mentioned.
