i also cut out the border where that little banner-like thing is with my name on it, but it didn't look so good.

hmm... that sig doesnt really catch my attention.. pretty boring........ you also cut bits outta ur second attempt.. it made it look worse.. i aint being mean or nothing just trying to help ya out... if i was u i would look up on some tuts on how to make better backgrounds a site with good tuts would be ZYMIC check out there photoshop tutorials i hope it will help u out with a few of ya future sigs.. & also if u wanna learn how to make borders BLACKEAGLE ONLINE is a good place to go to learn good luck
